Nathan was born and raised in Asheville, NC. He started his creative career in classical music. He played classical clarinet in symphonies and orchestras internationally. He then moved on to study musical theatre and acting and has performed in musicals all over the country, but after years of performing, he discovered that his true home: film. In 2015, he directed his first short film, “Honey Hands” and the same year he started his production company Halleloo Creative and has not stopped directing films since. He’s worked across a variety of genres, from comedy to drama, from cooking shows to talk shows, and of course (never forgetting where he came from) musicals and music videos. While the genres may be different, his dedication to telling interesting stories in interesting ways remains the same.
